Steve Bjork
Described by The Boston Globe as “one of the top names” in New England
stand-up, Steve Bjork got his start frying mozzarella sticks in the back room
of a popular Boston comedy club, sneaking glimpses of the stage while studying
the craft as a college student. Today he is a polished veteran of the fiercely
competitive Boston scene with crisscrossing national tours under his belt. His
material is intelligent and accessible — but first and foremost, it is funny —
taking everyday life and turning it upside down in a way every audience can
enjoy. A longtime favorite in nightclubs and casinos around the country and a
highly sought-after corporate entertainer, Bjork has performed at every major
Boston and New England comedy club, along with the Borgata in Atlantic City,
The Improv in Las Vegas, Mohegan Sun, Hilarities in Orlando and Cleveland, and
many more.
P.J. Thibideau
A longtime force on the New England comedy scene, P.J. Thibideau is
known for his blue-collar charm, easy stage presence, and observational
storytelling that draws on family life, aging, and his years as a collegiate
athlete and coach. After cutting his teeth on the national college campus
circuit and opening for some of the biggest names in comedy, he has grown into
one of the Northeast's top headliners and a performer audiences seek out. All
those years on the road show in the fearlessness and confidence of his
delivery, as he lands his stories and punchlines the way only he can.
Kevin Flynn (Host)
Kevin Flynn is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, host, and
comedian who traded professional soccer for the stage after winning the Boston
Comedy Riot. His film and television credits include The Heartbreak Kid
with Ben Stiller, Me, Myself & Irene with Jim Carrey, Osmosis
Jones with Bill Murray, and HBO's Sex and the City, where his
character Bram Walker was voted one of the series' most popular boyfriends; he
most recently appeared in The Greatest Beer Run Ever alongside Russell
Crowe and Zac Efron. Flynn has covered World Cup soccer for major networks,
created the MLS Talk Show of the Year-winning ESPN podcast Over the Ball,
and earned a Polk Award for his ESPN children's series SportsFigures.
His one-man show The Go For It Guy won Best of Fest at both the Boston
Comedy Festival and HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and he currently
tours with Fear of Heights — A Very Funny Phobia. Flynn is the Founder
and Executive Director of the Nantucket Comedy Festival, which supports Stand
Up & Learn, a program teaching kids confidence, creativity, and
communication skills through stand-up comedy.
