The film captures the human side of Nantucket’s housing crisis through the voices of year-round residents—teachers, tradespeople, entrepreneurs, and retirees—offering a compelling portrait of a community under pressure. Set against one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country, Room For Us reveals what’s at stake when essential workers can no longer afford to live where they serve.
