Join us at The Dreamland as the Nantucket Arts Council presents another new edition of their long-running Downtown Concert Series featuring pianist Jeff Cutts performing his original work: The Imagination of Childhood - A Journey In Sight & Sound.

Local pianist Jeffrey Cutts presents a concert featuring two composers' expressions of childhood scenes and stories—Claude Debussy’s Coin des Enfants (Children’s Corner) and Robert Schumann’s Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood). This unique program features an aural and visual journey through these evocative, imaginative works of Debussy and Schumann's, pairing each individual movement with a different Impressionist or Post-Impressionist painting inspired by the music. This dynamic experience is intended to awaken the imagination, celebrate the daydreams of childhood, and give this beloved music a new life for audiences of all ages.
