The Dreamland is very excited to announce the red carpet Nantucket premiere of Elin Hilderbrand’s debut Netflix series THE PERFECT COUPLE starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and (Nantucket Magazine August cover) Eve Hewson, in the Main Theater for the debut episode, followed by a very special on-stage conversation between Elin and Tim Ehrenberg, president of the Nantucket Book Foundation, and creator/curator of “Tim Talks Books”. 

This screening and conversation will be followed by a VIP reception sponsored by Lemon Press (see ticketing information) in The Dreamland’s beautiful Harborview Room and Deck that will feature hors d’oeuvres by Lemon Press and an open bar.

Bios:

Elin Hilderbrand has lived year-round on Nantucket for thirty years. She’s the #1 NYT bestselling author of 31 books. Her novel THE PERFECT COUPLE has been adapted into a six-episode limited series with Netflix starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber and Eve Hewson. Hilderbrand is the co-host of the literary podcast Books, Beach and Beyond along with @timtalksbooks creator, Tim Ehrenberg. Presently she and her daughter Shelby Cunningham are writing two novels set at a New England boarding school. The first book, The Academy, will come out in September 2025. Hilderbrand is a ten-year breast cancer survivor. She enjoys cooking for her young adult children, going to the beach, and occasionally popping into the Chicken Box. 

Tim Ehrenberg is the creator of Tim Talks Books and the co-host of the new literary podcast Books, Beach, & Beyond, along with #1 New York Times best-selling author Elin Hilderbrand. Tim is also the President of the Nantucket Book Foundation, which presents the Nantucket Book Festival every June, and Marketing and Events Director for Nantucket Book Partners. Tim writes a monthly column and is the resident bookworm for Nantucket's lifestyle magazine N and "Tim Talks Books" has been featured on Oprah's Book Club, The Today Show's Read with Jenna, CBS this Morning, Publisher's Weekly, and several other news sources and publications. Originally from Wisconsin, Tim has been an avid reader and lover of all things books before he could even talk. Before he washed ashore on Nantucket Island in 2013, Tim was a song and dance man, traveling the world, most notably on a USO tour to Baghdad, Iraq in 2010. Now you will always find him with a good book in his hands and championing literature on Nantucket and beyond.
